I am married 41 years to Francis McCabe, we have a son James and a granddaughter Gabriela.  I am extremely proud of James he is a musician, piano and organ.

My career with the FDNY started 22 years ago.  I have served the FDNY in many capacities, from file clerk to administrative manager.  Currently I work at the Fire Academy as the Assistant to the Chief of the Fire Academy and the TBTA Liaison.

​

In 2007 I started a Thanksgiving food drive, we provide dinner to families either ill or in need of knowing that someone took the time to think of them. 

​

I was the fundraising coordinator for Saint Rose of Lima RC Church for many years, involving the youth of our parish in flea markets.  The young people would get community service credit and I loved working with them. I presently attend Good Shepherd RC Church.

Senator Joseph P. Addabbo selected me as his “Woman of Distinction in 2017” for my work in the community.

Recently I became a Realtor, something I have always wanted to do.

Our youth need to have someone to believe in them, encourage them and let them know they are the most precious commodity there is.
