Rev. Dr. Agnes Blackmon received the BA from Loyola College, Montreal, Canada. In 1975, while attending two universities simultaneously, she received the Masters of Social Work degree from Adelphi University and the Masters of Science degree (school psychology) from Brooklyn College. In 1985, she received the Masters of Public Administration from New York University. In 1995, she received the Masters of Divinity from New York Theological Seminary. In 2008, she received the Doctor of Ministry from New York Theological Seminary. Rev. Dr. Blackmon is the Pastor of Westminster-Bethany Presbyterian Church, Brooklyn, New York. She is responsible for the Corporate Worship and administration of the Sacraments, Proclamation of the Word (Preaching), and the spiritual development of members, as well as teaching, administrative leadership, and pastoral counseling. Rev. Dr. Blackmon is a Diamond Life Member of the NAACP. She is the Director of Religious Affairs for the New York State Conference of Branches. She has one son, Jamil. Rev. Dr. Blackmon has received numerous awards and recognitions. Rev. Dr. Blackmon would like to be remembered for her healing touch and her listening ear. Her heart, soul, and spirit are dedicated to the Lord and to teaching and preaching about the Kingdom
